I don't really need to say more, except:


We decided we could "do it ourselves".
George went to Home Depot and bought a replacement part.
We spent a half hour fiddling to get the wires properly and safely connected.
We even had the right tools.
We managed to fix it on the first try ( almost unheard of).
Once all the tools were put away, and we were about to go back to the garage, GEORGE noticed...I didn't.
