The picture above has nothing to do with my post, it's a picture that makes me happy.
It is said that bad things happen in 3s.
So do good things:
Most importantly and the best thing of all, Barrack Obama was elected as President of the United States. I know that Dr. Martin Luther King is looking down from the heavens. I watched the acceptance speech live, and found it to be very gracious. It was a wonderful moment in my life.
Secondly, I found my Claddagh ring that George had given me for my 50th birthday. We were in the US for a day two weeks ago,and I suddenly noticed the ring was missing. Strangely enough ( well, not strange if you know me ) I knew this ring would find its way back to me.
I didn't post an ad in any paper or look at any found ads. Today, I slipped on my gardening gloves and there it was, in the glove. My hands were cold, and it obviously slipped off my finger. I always find listening to my inner voice is the way to go.
Thirdly, it was lovely out today, and I spent some time in the garden.
There is a sense of hope and peace in the world today.
So happy you found your ring... or rather, your ring found you!;)
